Registered Carer tickets are only valid when attending with a fully paying adult and accompanied by acceptable proof of carer identification.

We accept all photo ID carer cards such as Access Card +1, National Carers ID, CEA Card and Local Authority Carer ID Card. If you bring a PIP letter, DLA letter, Attendance allowance award letter, GP Letter, social worker support letter, or carer registration letter, then please also bring along a proof of photo ID.

Failure to provide acceptable proof of carer identification at the event will result in refusal of entry.

Comedians MC Colin Manford, Steve Harris, Tony Basnett and Matt Price are coming to WX this August for our Comedy Night in association with Plane Comedy.

Colin Manford is a North West based comedian who also happens to be Jason’s little brother!

An accomplished writer, actor and presenter who just loves to tell stories from his own unique perspective, all areas covered from his failed relationships to his weird and wonderful family life and more. No-holds barred comedy at its finest.

A very strong MC who can connect with any audience and can adapt to any situation, enjoying a growing reputation which has seen him booked not only in countries such as The Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Malta and Romania but also the UKs top clubs.

He has written for 8 Out of 10 Cats and Walk on the Wild Side and his debut one man show had 2 sell out nights at the 2010 Manchester Comedy Festival.

Steve Harris

Steve has been a stand-up comedian for over twenty years and burst on to the comedy scene by winning the coveted North West Comedian of the Year Award on his fifth ever gig. Shortly after, Steve earned his way to the final of the prestigious BBC New Comedy Award and So you Think You’re Funny Comedy Award.

Throughout the years Steve has become a regular headliner at some of the most respected comedy clubs in the UK, and has done support slots for Johnny Vegas, Peter Kay and Lee Evans on their UK tours.

Steve’s confident, observational and physical performances have earned him international status as he has performed all over the world including performances for our British Troops in Afghanistan.

Aside from comedy, Steve has deservedly earned TV credits on movies and shows like Funny Cow, Love, Lies and Records and most recently Coronation Street. The ability to make a range of audiences laugh and the talent to be versatile in front of a TV camera are not Steve’s only talents, he was once a lead singer/rapper in eighties/nineties rap band, First Offence and possesses musical talents and a keen mind for comedy writing.

Tony Basnett

Tony started his stand up career in 2008. Originally from Hartlepool and now residing in Manchester, Tony has taken the circuit by storm. Described as an upbeat and playful comic, Tony has been seen across the country at top comedy clubs as well as performing at some of the UK’s major music festivals, with a mischievous and positive style that will get any crowd to warm to his charm.

He’s reached the final of numerous competitions including Comedy Central Student of the Year, Beat the Frog World Series, Harrogate Comedian of the Year and Preston Comedian of the Year.

Tony’s specialty is music festivals, where he has built up a reputation as being a solid pair of hands, performing at Kendall Calling, 2000 Trees, YNot, Blissfields and Cock Rock and has had sell out shows for his solo show Tony Basnett – Always Lands On His Feet at the Manchester Fringe 2015, Nottingham Comedy Festival 2015 & The Daves Leicester Comedy Festival 2016

Matt Price

Matt Price has proven himself to be consistently funny in comedy venues of all shapes and sizes, all over the world from Penzance to Cambodia to a piece of plywood on top of a former gangland criminal’s hot tub. Matt interacts with an audience in a way that makes everyone in the room feel good, he tells jokes and he spins a great yarn. In short, Matt is accessible, professional and above all, very funny. He has also gained a reputation as a very funny but generous host, who can make a great atmosphere for the acts and the audience.
