WX is a fully accessible venue with step free access throughout. We have a changing places toilet located inside our main space. 

The closest and most convenient accessible parking to WX Wakefield is Trinity Walk Shopping Centre or The Ridings Shopping Centre. 

Trinity Walk (WF1 1QQ) – 1,000 spaces with disabled parking located on the ground floor outside Sainsburys.  

The Ridings Shopping Centre (WF1 1DS) – They have in total over 1,000 spaces, including 43 blue badge holder spaces and 22 family parking bays all with direct access into the centre.

Boccia is a Paralympic precision ball sport, similar to bowls, where players aim to throw or roll leather balls as close as possible to a white target ball called the jack.

This social club is open to beginners and more experienced players who are happy to share the court! It's fun, free and open to everyone, but young people and adults with disabilities are particularly encouraged to attend accompanied by parents or carers. 

Have a go at boccia and meet new friends - you can even grab some lunch while you're here.
