From fully equipped modular meeting rooms to our impressive main event space, Wakefield Exchange can accommodate gatherings of all sizes. The venue's largest space can host up to 1,000 guests, making it ideal for large-scale events, conferences, exhibitions, product launches, awards evenings and corporate celebrations.

The Shed

The Shed (full hall) is one of the largest event spaces for hire in Wakefield, with a capacity of up to 1,500 guests.

This versatile venue is ideal for large conferences, exhibitions, trade fairs, awards ceremonies, corporate events, live shows and community celebrations. Featuring a professional stage setup and advanced sound and lighting systems, The Shed is perfectly equipped for stage productions, performances and live entertainment.

For smaller events, this space can be reduced with our purpose-built hall partitions accommodating up to 500 people.

Important Information

Room hire includes the set-up of equipment only. A dedicated technician is not included as part of the hire. Located on the mezzanine level, Wakefield Exchange's meeting rooms offer a professional and private setting away from the main event space.

With both lift and stair access, these flexible rooms are ideal for meeting room hire, training sessions, workshops, board meetings, education events and small conferences.

Designed to encourage productivity, creativity and collaboration, our adaptable learning spaces can be hired individually or combined to create larger event environments. Thanks to movable partition walls, rooms can be seamlessly opened up to accommodate larger groups, making them perfect for conference breakouts, networking events, workshops, business meetings and corporate training days.

With flexible layouts and a central city centre location, Wakefield Exchange provides versatile meeting and conference facilities to suit a wide range of professional and educational events.
