Hire a Space

The Shed

The Shed (full hall) boasts a 1,500 capacity which is popular for large conferences, shows and fairs.

The space is perfect for stage productions and live entertainment due to its advanced sound and lighting system.

Please consult our Hire Policy (Hire Policy) and Hire Conditions (The Shed and The Factory Hire Conditions) before submitting your enquiry. By submitting an enquiry, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Council’s Policy and Hire Conditions.

The Factory

The Factory is a large event space separated from the main building, offering privacy and flexibility.

It is 400m2 and is the perfect space for larger meetings as well as table top events.

Meeting Rooms

Wakefield Exchange hosts three meeting rooms on the mezzanine floor tucked away from the hustle and bustle of The Shed and our food and beverage offering.

With lift and staircase access and flexible room set ups, these spaces are perfect for the delivery of smaller conferences or education-based events and workshops.

Our individual learning spaces, carefully curated to promote focus and creativity, have the potential to merge into expansive, collaborative environments. By simply opening moveable walls, we can breathe new life into these areas, transforming them into larger rooms that teem with energy and ideas.
