Registered Carer tickets are only valid when attending with a fully paying adult and accompanied by acceptable proof of carer identification.

We accept all photo ID carer cards such as Access Card +1, National Carers ID, CEA Card and Local Authority Carer ID Card. If you bring a PIP letter, DLA letter, Attendance allowance award letter, GP Letter, social worker support letter, or carer registration letter, then please also bring along a proof of photo ID.

Failure to provide acceptable proof of carer identification at the event will result in refusal of entry.

Join The Curator of Wakefield Ghost Walk for a winter evening of chilling tales, strange folklore and ghost stories of Christmas past.

Long before Christmas became a season of bright lights and festive cheer, the darkest nights of the year were a time for gathering around the fire and telling stories. Stories of restless spirits, unexplained encounters, old superstitions and things that might be waiting just beyond the candlelight…

Drawing upon Yorkshire folklore, local legends, Victorian traditions and classic tales of the supernatural, The Curator will take you into the darker side of the festive season.

With ghosts and mysteries, forgotten traditions and atmospheric storytelling, as well as some of the great supernatural tales that helped make the ghost story a Christmas tradition. 

Settle in and escape the winter night… the dead may not be quite as far away as you think.
