Featured Performers

Milly Renu

Singer songwriter group based in Leeds.
Performing in locations such as Hyde Park Book Club, Wharf Chambers and Peddler Market. Described as a mix between dreamy indie-melancholic folk and rock. Some of Milly’s songwriting inspiration stems from the female experience, connection and longing in many different forms. Her lyrics can be personal and introspective at times, many starting with feelings of frustration or anger and adapting into songs that feel more soft and ‘solved’. Many of her lyrics originate as poetry and her main inspirations stem from 90s dream pop, velvet underground, pj harvey.

Speedway Star

Speedway Star are an alt-country / shoegaze supergroup birthed from the fertile pastures of Leeds, West Yorkshire. Bonded through a shared love of Silver Jews, Sparklehorse and 60s jangle, their sound is eclectic but nevertheless still fragile - carefully woven together by gentle flourishes of lap steel, 1950s Italian fan organ, and banjo. Supported by a rotating cast of musicians and instruments, lyrical content meanders from surreal imagery to obscure references.

Elwell
000046920013plus-plusSpikeplusElwellplus(1)

Elwell are a 4 piece band from Leeds. Their debut EP 'Go Faster,' is a blistering barrage of jangly, emo power-pop that wouldn't be out of place on NME's famed C86 cassette, with a range of influences including Ovlov, Balkans and Pavement.
