BSL Guided Tour

Join us for a free British Sign Language (BSL) tour of Jason and the Wakefield Adventure, our big, bold sculpture exhibition at Wakefield Exchange.

Led by Martin Glover, BSL facilitator, these relaxed tours explore the stories behind the artworks. 

Tour Dates

  • Wednesday 25 June, 3pm
  • Sunday 27 July, 2pm
  • Tuesday 5 August, 2pm
  • Tuesday 19 August, 5pm 

Meet at the Welcome Point in the main hall of Wakefield Exchange.

Note: There will be no spoken English translation as it is aimed for BSL audience. This tour is open to everyone but is specifically aimed at people who are d/Deaf and will be delivered in British Sign Language only.

Audio Described Tours

Explore the Jason and the Wakefield Adventure exhibition through vivid audio description, specially designed for blind and visually impaired visitors.

Led by the experienced team at Mind’s Eye, these tours bring the story, characters, and artwork to life through rich, sensory detail.

Family Tours for SEND

Join us for a SEND-exclusive family tour of Jason and the Wakefield Adventure.

In this relaxed, accessible session you can expect a short guided tour of Jason’s vibrant inflatables, sensory-friendly exploration of textures and materials, hands-on creative art activity designed for all ages and flexible, non-pressured participation.
