Get creative with The Hepworth Wakefield’s outreach team to build dens, play games and build sculptures - inspired by The Hepworth’s collection.

This session encourages imagination, collaboration, and fun. Drop in and let your creativity take shape!

Suitable for families with children aged 2-12. 

Free drop-in session – no need to book! Parents and caregivers must supervise children at all times.

The Hepworth Wakefield is home to Wakefield’s art collection. Named after Barbara Hepworth, one of the most important artists of the 20th century, the gallery presents major exhibitions of the best international modern and contemporary art and has dedicated galleries exploring Hepworth’s art and working process.

The award winning learning programme engages and inspires families, communities and educational institutions.

This event is part of the This Was Our Year exhibition taking place at WX (14-23 March) which celebrates and reflects on the district’s journey of culture and creativity during Our Year -  Wakefield District 2024.
