Join IPMS Wakefield and District and see the best of miniature and model-making and painting.

IPMS Wakefield and District is a long established model-club, founded in the mid-1980s, with an annual show running for over 30 years.

The show gives visitors the opportunity to see the best of miniature and model-making and painting, with over thirty clubs in attendance from the local area, the North and Midlands of England, Southern Scotland and further afield. 

Model Supermarket

Here you’ll find everything you need to collect, construct, paint and display models and miniatures of all types and sizes. You might even enter your model into next year’s competition!

Open Competition

The show features an open competition – this means that 6 entrants need not be members of any club or society to enter (£1.50 per entry). 

There will also be a junior class (under 16) where entry will be free.

The competition is judged in the “open” way, with gold, silver and bronze medals and certificates of merit according to the quality of entry.

There will additionally be best in show awards.
