The Wall is a changing display that celebrates creatives from across the Wakefield district.

Keepers of Time by Tony Wade is series of detailed drawings celebrating the majesty of trees, and connection through nature and mindfulness. These digital drawings were created in 2024 when Tony documented the oldest trees within Yorkshire Sculpture Park, some dating back 300 - 400 years. The trees pictured include an ancient ash, veteran sycamores and beeches, and an ancient field maple. Keepers of Time was originally shown at Yorkshire Sculpture Park in 2025

Tony Wade studied Fine Art at Bretton Hall College in the 1980s and now has a studio at The Art House in Wakefield. Tony’s work explores the emotional impact that landscapes can have. Through painting, sculpture, drawing, light and music, his work celebrates the everyday local environment and focuses on details that are often overlooked. Tony has created over 200 installations and exhibitions across the UK, including The Hepworth Wakefield and National Trust – Nostell, English National Opera, and The National Archives
