Creative Health Conversations

Chat to Chris from 11am – 1pm

Chris Dugher is Team Leader – Referral Services in the Wellbeing Team and a Mental Health First Aid Instructor at Wakefield Council. Chris can provide practical information and advice for local creatives on safeguarding their wellbeing and self-care when working with vulnerable people.

Focus Group from 1:30pm – 3pm

Our partners, the National Creative Health Hub are keen to hear from Freelance Creative Practitioners based in Wakefield district and West Yorkshire who are working in Creative Health (creative approaches and activities which have benefits for health and wellbeing).

The focus group will explore:

  • Skills gaps and training needs
  • Pathways into Creative Health work
  • Freelance/precarious working realities

The aim is to better understand what practitioners working in Creative Health actually need for the sector to grow in a sustainable way.

There are up to 10 places available which have now all been taken.

The focus group will be led by Dr Stacey Durham and Dr Emma Andrews, University of Huddersfield.
