Always wanted to try stand-up? Join Plane Comedy Academy for this 7 week comedy school!

Join comedian Colin Manford for a fun and supportive 7-week comedy course at WX this January. Each week Colin will be joined by a guest comedian from the UK circuit, sharing their experience and tips.

Across the course you’ll learn the essentials of writing jokes, building confidence on stage, and developing your own comedic voice. The journey ends with a live showcase performance, where you’ll take to the stage and share your material in front of an audience.

Week 1 – Introductions, Inspiration & Finding Your Style – Guest Comic Big Lou

Week 2 – Style & Structure  – Guest Comic Vince Atta

Week 3 – Building Material & Storytelling  - Guest tutor Anthony Williams, Guest Comic Tony Burgess

Week 4 – Delivery, Confidence & Refinement – Guest Comic Dave Twentyman

Week 5 – Sharpening & Expanding the Set  - Guest Comic Mick Ferry

Week 6 – Rehearsal & Mindset - Guest Comic Daisy Earl

Week 7 – The Showcase  - Your moment on stage

No experience needed – just bring your sense of humour and a willingness to give it a go!
